History

Trompenburg Candy was founded in 2004 in order to make a difference in the world of candy products, with new brands, products and concepts.

 

The first brand created in 2004 was the Sure! brand, starting with a sugarfree mint line. Later, a range of chew candy rolls and cool mints were introduced.

 

In 2009, the Tuttle & Company business was acquired from a US partner and the Barkleys brand was added to the range.

From 2010 to 2013, many new Barkleys lines were added, such as the Chocolate range as well as the Sugarfree range.

 

In 2013, the Montisse line of Swiss Herb Candies was created and introduced.

 

In 2014, the Tuttle classic candy range was introduced.

 

Early 2016 saw the birth of the Daybreak brand.

 

At the end of 2016, Barkleys Liquorice Pellets, Sure! Star Mints and the new Yooz brand were introduced.
